How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
There are two sides to Explanationformula Tree Service. One is the referral service, which takes your request and points it toward the right kind of help. The other is the network of independent local providers who do the tree work.
Once you are connected, the conversation is between you and the provider. They give the quote, set the schedule and carry out the job.
What Happens on the Call
The first call is short. You describe the tree, where it stands and what worries you. Expect questions about nearby roofs, fences, power lines and how easily a truck could reach the spot.
If a storm just hit, say so. Many providers can respond quickly to storm tree clearance, though availability varies. A provider may visit first, or give a rough range by phone and confirm it on site.
What to Ask an Independent Provider
A few good questions make quotes easier to compare:
- What exactly is included? Cutting, hauling, wood and cleanup?
- Is stump grinding part of the price, or separate?
- How will you protect the roof, lawn and anything underground?
- Do you carry insurance, and can I see proof?
- Will you give me the quote in writing?
- What could change the price once work starts?
Older homes deserve an extra question. Ask how the provider handles aging roofs, old drain lines and past repairs near the tree.
You Are in Control
You are never required to book anyone. Get two or three quotes if you like. Compare the scope, not just the number at the bottom. A quote that leaves things out may cost more in the end.
If something feels rushed, slow down. A fair provider will understand. If a tree has damaged your home, some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document the damage for a claim.
